  1. So anyone go this weekend? Seen alot of reports of nice catches so far this weekend. Looks like the size reg the last few years worked? Heard more keepers than throwbacks, but than again since the water is cooler you tend to get the bigger ones in close and in the back bays. I'm planning a trip this week for 2 days and hitting SR. Was going to go this weekend, but sure alot of were out on the water. Did anyone hit SR over the weekend? PM or reply. Cheers, CMJ
  2. Big sharks would be my guess? O-o By the looks of this post you sound new to NJ saltwater or new to saltwater fishing? Tiger Sands are usually in by now. Fun to catch and can get pretty big (not huge) and yes have teeth so don't lip them lol. Can catch them off of surf near CM if you target them as that's their breeding ground. Other than that, this time of season you can catch big sand sharks since the water is cooler for them. Once summer hits you can mostly small ones. The big sands are fun to catch for a good fight. Also Sandbar Sharks get pretty big but i believe they are more into the warmer waters. Hope this helps a tad. Cheers, CMJ
  3. Hey guys, long time no talk. Getting rdy for trout now. Going to French Creek in PA on the 4th. Than it's Stipers from there. Can't wait for the Spring run. GL to you all. Cheers CMJ
