  1. LFOD, That's pretty cool, silicone eye mold?
  2. lonellr, You put so much work into that post that I feel a little bad bringing this up, but John at NJT will sell you flat (unbent) lips if you ask for them. I'm just putting it out there in case anyone else is looking to do something a little custom. I especially liked this bit "grab your nearest PM Conrad Jr to compare! "
  3. Been there done that. Turn a couple short dowels and glue them in the holes, nobody but us will ever k ow.
  4. Kphresh, I picked my order up after hours, never had a problem, but I do miss sifting thru the "scrap" bin, and coming away with an armful of "scrap".
  5. So I was completely out of Alaskan Yellow Cedar, so I called Medford Cedar Products to order up some balusters, cause I need to make some plugs before the season's over. I got 6 balusters, $56, and they now carry rough AYC I picked up a 2 x 6 x 6' for $21! There are a few visible knots, but thats a lot of wood for 20 bucks. Just putting it out there in case anybody is running low.
  6. My Version Mine is just Createx Pearl colors over black.
  7. Punch just posted an excellent example of a gasoline pattern in the Showtime finished plugs thread.
  8. TK, What's going on with that bottom one? Scales and gills look cast in, did you go to the dark side?
  9. Ah, you have the added challenge of printing the plugs, I always turned mine from wood and finishing the face was done by hand/eye to get the shape I wanted. Having to get the shape right before you print adds some extra difficulty. But you're shape looks good, only way to tell is to throw it in some water. They can be a little finicky.
  10. Nice shape, I'll bet a surfster lip would make that thing wiggle.
  11. I was given a bit of instruction when I was making my first bottles, by a Mass guy, Rockfish9, who told me to sweep the cheeks back, just a bit. In your second view, at the height of the line tie, it looks like the face goes straight across from side to side. The cheeks on the face would be swept back just a touch. So that in the third view, looking down on the plug, there would be a radius from side to side. Just an observation, you do you, but while you're fiddling with them to get them to swim the way you want, try it out. Nice drawings by the way, I wish I could wrap my head around 3D drawing software.
  12. Yeah buddy, you going to show up with boxes of plugs?
  13. And this is breaking my heart. Last time my heart got broken was Marine, it's just a pale shadow of what once was. And now they're going to screw up the Camp, one of the nicest stretches to fish in Monmouth County. Bastards.
