At least you have been catching something.I have been getting a bad luck at the canal. Just enjoy fishing and catching fish there, dude. It's all about skills and luck when it comes to fishing on the canal.
I don't mean to hijack or intrude, but has anyone had any luck with catching yellow and winter flounders from the shores?I just tried going out for schoolies today and nada and I am guessing that it's a bit of too early or too cold. I just started my fishing season.
I'd try out Bass River. If you are fishing inside of it, incoming tide is your best bet. If you are on the inlets, outgoing is good. It runs fast though. Topwater poppers, tins, and bucktails should do the trick. Flyfishing, too.
My uncle lives in Cape Cod because he has a summer house there. He also owns a boat. He fishes on the canal whenever he sees fishes breaking. He knows that he cannot fish in the canal , but he doesn't give a damn. Most of people live in Cape Cod or not would have a chance to drive a boat and fish and be very inconsiderate to others and the laws.
How has it been doing down there? I haven't been trying out for flukes down the cape on the shore. I was wondering that if anyone here has been doing it well or not.
I always go to Sportsmen's Den b&t and Ron told me that he stopped doing the reel and rod repair and cleaning service because he no longer has a time for it. So yeah, I need to go to a new person who can do it and I am really bad with with fixing things.
