Stripers Forever & The Second Amendment
surfsters replied to surfsters's topic in Political Graffiti
KB If you can find a copy of the NRA’s, April, Shooting Magazine and go to the Legislative Action section; you should find what you have been looking for. I would imagine that all of their publications from that approximate time period would also contain that information. -

Personally, I would say it is a Fenwick blank; I had a 13’ Hatteras Heaver myself back in the early 70’s.

Stripers Forever & The Second Amendment
surfsters replied to surfsters's topic in Political Graffiti
“YETI severed ties with the NRA and is now engaging in damage control after a backlash from many of its customers. In early March, YETI refused to place a previously negotiated order from NRA-ILA, citing ‘recent events’ as the reason – a clear reference to the tragedy in Parkland, Florida. YETI then delivered notice to the NRA Foundation that it was terminating a 7-year agreement and demanded that the NRA remove the YETI name and logo from all NRA digital assets, as well as refrain from using any YETI trademarks in future print material. YETI is trying to spin the story otherwise, those are the facts. While Yeti can change their story, but they can’t change the facts. Whether their changing story is due to the recent cancellation of the IPO from their New York City owners is a question only, they can answer.” — Marion P. Hammer. -

Stripers Forever & The Second Amendment
surfsters replied to surfsters's topic in Political Graffiti
Tim, that was very well said...... and yes Yeti Coolers have been hiring lobbyists to take away your Second Amendment Rights; it not just AR’s with them........ The reason that I started this thread was to hopefully make Stripers Forever aware of the fact that they are probably kicking at least half, if not more of their members in the teeth, by having Yeti Coolers sponser the event. I mean no disrespect to the organization, but maybe they should do a little more investigating of sponsorship in the future......... And for those of you who do not know about or care to remember about the largest mass murder ever committed in the United States, ( besides terrorist attacks ) occurred at the Happy Land Social Club in NYC, all it took was a gallon of gasoline and a match. People have been killing people since the beginning of humanity. I’m sorry to say that will never change; as for the way our country is heading; I feel that we are going to see firsthand why our forefathers created the Second Amendment........ -

Did you know that this organization that I held a lot of respect for is letting Yeti Coolers sponser their upcoming event. Yeti Coolers along with Dicks Sporting Goods wants to take away your Second Amendment Rights. What if anything do you have to say about this? Personally, I just sent an email expressing my thoughts about this matter. I hope that you will do the same.

Beach replineshment, the good, the bad, the ugly
surfsters replied to OrtleyBeach35's topic in New Jersey Fishing
1) Beach replenishment is like pissing into the wind! Instead of pumping sand they should have used their eminent domain law to buy up land along the oceanfront; torn down all the structures and let nature take its course. The poor people in Long Branch had their homes taken away by the rich political elite. I feel turnabout is only fair. The towns charging people to use our states beaches are the only ones benefiting and a few rich homeowners. I have invested 55 yrs of my life into learning tides and times to fish; only to find myself screwed out of my one true love Surf Fishing For Striped Bass. Now it’s even starting to effect the boat fishermen. 2) They could have extended all of the jetty’s toward the southeast; then a nice beach would form on the south side and a nice hole would form on the north side. 3) When the land that was taken is paid off, the savings could be used to lower taxes or pay for some sort of health care plan, etc.,etc. I could go on and on about this subject, sorry........ -

Where are you located??? -
I just happened upon this thread and read the last few pages about you serious Pichney collectors wanting to see a large reverse squid......... what would a Danny P thread be without one.

The Tangfolio's are nice but CZ's are nicer. If you are looking for a nice race gun check out the CZ 75 Tactical Sport Orange in 9mm or .40 cal. the .40 is probably a little better knocking over steel at 80-100 yrds. I own both calipers in this model and cannot say anything bad about them.

Its hard to believe that no one has a swirl colored plug that they would be willing to trade....... I would be willing to trade up to three of the baits pictured for one swirled........ There are many color options out there I could use..... If you collect another builder I have some real tough baits from quite a few of them to trade..... Or I will do my best to find the bait you need......
-
Grey Gables, Thanks for the offer; but I am only looking for swirl colored plugs at this time......... I do have a few nice Cyclones and other builders to trade for them....... Hope we can do a trade in the future.......
-
Grey Gables- That will be a real tough one to find, if I remember right Lefty didn’t do purple glitter in a spoon lip for sale to the general public, although he may have made a few on request for friends. I do have a Wades ( spoonlip ) in purple scale and a few other tough ones to trade in odd colors ( giant / medium / small ) models.
