  1. Andy you are correct......Imagine a bass on the front hook shaking violently while the other was in my palm and my friend trying to help me gets his feet tangled in my line OUCH!!!!
  2. I knew someone would compare an MVP in Jimmy to a back up catcher that has accomplished nothing.
  3. Using a boga while standing in the water with a plug attached with 2 big trebles sounds like a trip to the hospital, once you get a hook in your hand or leg priorities change a bit. My saftey first the bass is somewhere below that. This is me in 99" ive never felt that much pain in my life.
  4. I propose that anyone who catches a bass and it is sandy but wants a picture to kill it and eat it so there is no waste If someone is fishing a pounding surf and they catch a bass are they to follow the bass into the ocean to remove the hook, im confused? Are we talking dry sand as opposed to wet?
  5. Id say at least 30 pound braid. In the ocean I use 50 lb pp for pluggin, big plugs and pencils. I have a saragosa , dont know if the bigger sizes are the same but when Im popping the real handle tends to unsrew. Its not made like the Stadic where you tighten it by turning the knob on the opposite side of the handle. So I use my stradics more. Has anyone else had that problem with the Saragosa?
  6. Id rather someone take a picture of it in the sand than in his/her backyard
  7. I use to be a big fan of C Coste but I can now understand why they did not give him the chance I thought he deserved. Most of last year and all of this year so far he is horrible at the plate and not doing much better behind it. Ruiz is close to coming back and I cant wait. Marson should be the back up, and Im sure he will be for the remainder of the year. I appreciate what he brought to the table previously but think he is done. On a better note Raul Ibanez is playing incredible right now and hope he can keep it going.
  8. Steve They did not have to say a word to me about them, when I heard someone was producing them again I went straight to the somerset show with the sole purpose of picking these lures up. I really like the gold and black, it definately produced bigger bass, but I caught on every color. Steve , i have no doubt you will catch bass with these plugs, on a quite night you can actually hear the knocker in the water.
  9. Here is a yellow over white bunka boy I sanded down and added some chartreuse..
  10. Was told by a couple guys they saw a huge group spawning 2 days ago.
  11. Guideschoice makes them, he is local and I have already caught some decent bass on them. Glad I never got caught up in buying the Big-O originals One thing wood doesnt have is a big knocker in it, which is really important IMOP at night or in stained water.
