Trailer: SeaLion 2 axle Boat Options Included in addition to all standard BW features: Deluxe Leaning Post with Lighted Livewell (25 gal.) Flip-up thigh-rise helm seat T-top with 9 rod rocket lounchers, electronics box w. speakers, storage bag Ski pylon Tackle storage box Knife / leader holder Raw-water washdown (new pump) Swim platform with telescoping stainless steel swim ladder Cooler with cushion. Full Cushion Package (bolsters all around, 2 fore deck seating cushions (big center one is new), 2 aft seats. Dual Battery Switch LED T-Top lights The boat is a fishing workhorse disguised as a safe, unsinkable family fun boat I'd love if the boat stayed here with a SOL member as it's a great bass fishing platform in the bay and out in front. I took her on many fishing trips and some over 20 miles off shore. Boat is very stable in the drift and extremely dry ride even in rough seas. It has 2 huge fishboxes which keep ice extremely well since the hull is foam filled. The livewell is round with great water flow and keeps bait live for a long time. Overall boat feels much bigger than it is. I think it is a combination of weight, plenty of room behind the leaning post and 8'-4" beam. Condition: Overall she is in great shape with couple of small nicks in the gellcoat. The cushions show age and will probably need to be replaced (the big bow cushion is new). The end of the skeg is chipped off but the skeg is straight and it doesn't affect the performance. The top of the cowling has a dent from a sinker hit That's pretty much it. Overall the boat looks shiny and shows great. BW uses top quality hardware and everything holds well. Price: 30K I bought her well years ago and want to pass some savings to the buyer and possibly sell her quickly as I got bit by an offshore fishing bug and moved up. Having 2 boats unfortunately is not an option. I checked the market and I think this one will be the lowest priced with the included options and trailer Boat is in NY but trailers easy (I pulled her with Jeep GC)

I don't think many would disagree with that and I certainly don't. I don't see anything wrong with keeping a fish once in a while for the table but this is different. This tournament is pushing people to kill the fish they otherwise would let go because they hope to win one of the weekly or other prizes. I mean if people kill Albies which are not really edible for most to be entered in some contests really shows you how the incentives and stupid greed works.
-
Yes, this sounds like a real problem that is unsolvable.
-
Let's keep it on topic folks as requested. If this topic is about OTW and the tournament there should be no need to link to any sites showing comm vs rec kills etc. The data is easy enough to google by anyone interested in the topic.

Do they make seniors eat Albies?
-
Good to hear Tim.

Wow I'm really surprised. Nobody eats Albies so basically people kill them to be entered in the contest and thrown in the dumpster. This puts it for me in the same category as kicking the dogfish or searobins to die in the sand. I guess we are truly getting what we are deserving with the fish stocks collapsing. This really exposes the lies and misinformation all kill contest organizers spread that the fish entered in the contest would die anyway in the course of normal fishing and the contest just adds some fun to the activity and not adding to the number of fish killed. If we have idiots killing Albies like this, how many bass end up in the dumpsters because of these "contests"
