  1. This is a great reel. My response is simple. My fishing buddy taught me how to fish with a conventional reel. There isn't a better way to repay his generosity than with a new reel.
  2. Hillyers in Waterford has a decent stainless steal rake.
  3. Thank you for info. I'm going try that this spring. Kind of reminds me of the banjo minnow. LoL
  4. Nice lot of plugs. Free bump if nothing else.
  5. Comments like this make no sense to me. Which has been there longer? The dam or the striper?
  6. I just talked with the CT DEP representative for the saltwater licence earlier this week. With the CT license you can fish Mass. RI and all waters that touch Long Island Sound from shore or boat which would include the north side of Long Island. CT legislation has instituted reciprocal rights with any State that will honor our saltwater license. So if South Carolina wants to honor our license than we can fish down there. The whole thing is complicated and stupid for lack of a better term. And Grinder, I am sure you were told that by NY environmental officers but they are wrong.
  7. I have heard stories about a couple giant tuna blasting through Niantic Bay some time in the early '80's.
  8. She fails to grasp the concept that designated taxes paid by outdoors-men allow States and the Federal Government to buy open space properties. We as a group do an incredible service to the environment with funding, clean-ups, conservation...etc. I am tired of these whack jobs.
