I may be able to make a recommendation. What do you call cheap?

What will you be doing out there? How many cars do you need to accommodate?

I may be able to hook you up on the demo crew as well. Provide some details.

Two small trucks, six to eight guys. We will be doing a fast track renovation to a clients Summer home. Need a subcontractor who is good at interior demolition of very high end residences.

Cheap is not the right word. I need good and clean but reasonable for off season. I have no idea what the rates are this time of year Jane I don't have a number in mind just what the best deal I can get and keep the boys happy.

TBD

I have a friend who has a house in Sag Harbor and often rents rooms. He's about 10-15 minutes away from the town of South Hampton.

I bet that he would do it for a very reasonable price. And he's a great guy and would be living on the premises--- probably be a good influence on any renegades.

Pm me..if you are interested and I'd be happy to approach him with the idea.

....and some very not nice ones, be careful.

Yes, but you won't go wrong if you stick with the big chain names. There are a couple right where the expressway ends, which are nice because there are lots of amenities located right there too. The nicest is probably the one right next to the Aquarium. It's also very nice to be right in town and have a lot of decent restaurants now withing walking distance. Jerry's and the Mermaid are right next door and I also like Digger Odell's pub.

Hey Marty do you remember a Howard Johnson's near the circle? I seem to but it is a hazy memory .

Sure Pete, I remember that HOJO. They used to have an all the fried chicken you can eat night. We ( bouncers/football players) would go and pig out, probably why it closed. AHHHH the 60s.

WH, keep in mind that traffic going W to E can be a bear in the morning. I would try to get a place E of jobsite if possible. A bunch of demo crews are tied up with freeze-up tare downs. I would stay out of Riverhead unless you know the area. As was said before some nice restaurants but some sketchey characters roaming.
