tradrodz
I would suggest a Mike's 5-1/2 swimmer. The action is amazing! But I'm not sure if you've tried it before. You're question is a little vague.

Highlander1
If you don't have a Choopy, 4", 1 1/2 oz. Swimmer, you should try them out. Well built and very consistent, although its shorter and stubbier than most plugs, the rear single dressed hook makes it look a lot bigger swimming. Pretty good casting also, no plug of this design casts like a missile, but its remarkably aerodynamic for its appearance, must be the weight. Not sure of his current colors, but I always liked the Schoolbus and White one, his painting has gotten more involved in the last couple of years, but even the old ones hold up and once you like something you stick with it. I prefer to swim them on top, in calm to 2 foot seas, you won't be disappointed in the plug or the makers work. Of course, you should like to fish nights, they get deadlier as it gets dark. And then, theres a 7" Loaded Red Fin in Smoky Joe or Black, good for heavy water. achase
Gaines Maverick. They make 6" and 4". Awesome, awesome plastic-lipped minnow. The Brand is Gaines if you want to ever see their website. Everone keeps thinking they're discontinued and either sells or buys them on the BST for too much$$. I buy them from The Surfcaster in CT. $8.79 for the 6" and $4.99 for the 4" (never tried the smaller model). For $5 bucks though, you should try it. The 6" is the one I normally use and it's great. Also, the Guides Choice Old School Swimmer is a great lure. It might be 6" too, though. It's a doofy looking lure but it works great. Buy one, you will like it!
