Reelangler
I am planning on a vacation to Mass. in mid September and will most likely be staying in the Plymouth area. I wonder if anyone can tell me about access to beaches in the area. I understand that there is a jetty in Plymouth. Is it a rough one where I would have to wear Korkers? Are there any piers or warfs that I could fish from at night without getting into any trouble? Also, what is the preferred bait shop in the area and do they carry eels on a regular basis? Thanks for any and all advice. Rob
boulderdash
You wont need korkers on the Plymouth jetty if your fishing the high tide
flylikabird
Pm sent with a great location for you. You'll need a bucket of eels, a wet sock and a good pair of headphones. Plymouth is where this country first started, be nice to her, pickup all your trash and she'll reward you with treasures you won't soon forget!!!! Reelangler
Thanks for the help. I leave no trace of my night time adventures and I will release any fish I catch for I am not going to clean fish on this vacation. I hope the fishing is better than it has been the last couple of years in my area! Rob

Charleston
I went to Plymouth last July and was awarded a $100 parking ticket. It just shows you, the possibilities are endless. Good people, good food and a great place to visit. Oh, the beer is good too! I am old but I'm slow.
Reelangler
I forgot about the tides. I remember the first time I was up there and I noticed how high up the high tide line was, It was low tiide at the time. Very dramatic compared to the mid-atlantic area! I am not a big lobsta fan but I am looking forward to eating some lobster rolls while I'm there! Rob
capie 01
Try Wood's fish market and seafood restaurant. It's on the Harbor Master's pier. Not fancy like the surrounding eateries, but the best in town. It's where the locals go...
