TedSki
Bay side, north San Mateo county this morning from slack tide through the first two hours of the outgoing. 10 knot wind in my face, murky water. Not my favorite conditions. Just trying to learn.

Mike415
Buddy took me and my girlfriend sturgeon fishing out on San Pablo Bay today. She had never been on a boat in the bay let alone sturgeon fishing. It was nothing short of totally fking awesome!! Weather started out really crappy with 15+kts wind and lumpy wind waves and I was afraid she wouldn't be able to hang but she is a badass and in the end we kicked ass! Girlfriend got to fight 2 keepers and buddy got a keeper right at the last second before lines up. Awesome. We also got a couple shakers and a handful of shaker bass. All fish released One of my best days fishing in a long time. Topped it off with a hot pizza and cold beer after we washed the boat
odasan
Good stuff Mike! I assume that it was also cold out there in the morning. The harder you work, the luckier you get.

TedSki
San Mateo County, oceanside, south of HMB for the last 2 hours of the outgoing and first hour of incoming: about 15 surf perch 6-10" with about 5 being redtail, one walleye and the rest barred. What a gorgeous afternoon with light winds and calm surf. Just trying to learn.

TedSki
Solid action! Grubbing or bait? Grubbing. I decided to get experimental since the bite was so good. When throwing 3" motor oil gulp sandworms, instant hits after taking up slack. With red sandworms, mild action and smaller hits/fish. Motor oil 1" curl tail grubs yielded no action. All on a Carolina rig with weight and leader sized for the conditions. Just trying to learn.
