Whirly bird - flew around in circles on a rod, had a hook that you could loser to try and rescue the little plastic man

1973 SSP Smash-Up Derby - you lost most of the parts on the first day.

My best one was the drag racer that's not shown. These things were insanely fast and hurt like hell when your buddy managed to get you on the ankle with one

These were my favorites - my mother HATED them. They left long scuff marks on the linoleum floor when you wound em up.

When the Flintstones premiered on TV they also came out with a Dino the Dinosaur battery operated toy (circa 1960). My pops bought one for me, and they weren't cheap. I was three. Opened it up Christmas morning, plugged the batteries in, turned it on. It goes "yeep, yeep, yeep" like three times.....scares the crap out me. I run like hell. Scared to death of the damn thing. If there was a room mom didn't want me in, she'd put Dino on the job...I would NOT go in that room. My old man talked **** about that toy up until he passed away. Man he was PISSED.

Wish I had that thing today...they're selling for 2-3 hundred bucks now.

"Just as the laymen leave medicine to doctors and electronics to engineers, so people who are not qualified to think should leave all thinking to the experts and have faith in the experts' higher authority. Only experts are able to understand the discoveries of modern science, which have proved that thought is an illusion and that the mind is a myth."

Hot Wheels

I got a set like this one Christmas but bigger. Those power houses were great, they would shoot the cars out like rockets and they were loud as hell. You would get a couple houses going and nobody in the room could hear anything but the roar of those suckers. Good memories.:)

If you use eclairs in your example, he will get it right away. MikeMc
