For those who enjoy high irony, I present this tidbit from the Gateway Pundit.

No Justice, No Peace!

Elizabeth Vega is one of the Ferguson protest leaders. She protested at sports venues and attempted a banner drop. She co-led the St Louis Symphony interruption, was arrested at the pumpkin smashing, yelled at the St Louis Post Dispatch protest, and helped block traffic with her freakshow in Clayton yesterday.

While yelling “**** the Police!” apparently her car got stolen.

Do you think she’ll file a police report requesting they help her now?

Tell ya what, Frank. You think about the definition of irony.

i·ro·ny1

ˈīrənē/

noun

a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result.

Then think about having to file a police report about having your car stolen while you were yelling "**** the police".

If you think really, really, REALLY hard, you might just get this. :)

C'mon, man. You can do it. Think, Frank. Think hard.

Far too many people mis identify irony.

Not so in this case. Very very funny. I would love to be a fly on the wall when she makes that police report.

Yes Sir, No Sir, whatever I can do to help Sir.

LOL *sly, I really did. :D

I can't entertain his shenanigans all day. I've got projects to complete. He'll have to find someone else to volunteer for that today.

irony, satire, parody....all seem to be over the heads of too many regulars here.

here's some fresh Ferguson irony for ya!

St. Louis police were investigating an incident in which a woman waving a gun inside a vehicle and saying she was "ready for Ferguson" apparently shot herself in the head by accident, CNN reported Sunday.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting occurred Friday night in the city's downtown area. Sources briefed on the investigation told CNN that a police report identified the victim as 26-year-old Becca Campbell.

The sources told CNN that the victim was involved in a car accident. Campbell's 33-year-old boyfriend, who was not identified, was driving the car and told investigators that Campbell began waving a gun around and joking that the couple were ready for Ferguson, the sources said.

The boyfriend said he rear-ended another car while ducking to avoid the gun, which then discharged and struck Campbell in the head, the sources said. The victim later died at a hospital.

The boyfriend told police that the couple purchased the gun because they feared unrest that may arise from a grand jury decision in the fatal shooting of unarmed black teen Michael Brown by a white police officer, the sources said.

Less irony, depending on your warp, it could be either pathos or bathos.

Politicians and diapers should be changed often and regularly,  invariably for the same reason.

Agreed. Irony, satire, parody....all seem to be over the heads of too many regulars here. Apparently the irony of needing police services because your car got stolen while you were chanting "****" the police is over the head of too many regulars here.

Apparently the irony of needing police services because your car got stolen

was it not insured?

if the police do NOT find the car is it still irony?

why is it you never admit it when you misspeak?

Oh, damn. Insurance. Yeah.

File an insurance claim without a police report and see how you make out.

Where is the pointing and laughing emoticon, anyway? I'll have to see if I can find one.... 1830507
