Robert Williams
That's the statement from the person the lefties want to be the next president of the USA. Hillary Clinton is staking out her territory early on with rhetoric like this that's sure to make pinko hearts throb with delight. It's "you didn't build that" whitewashed and recycled, run through the juicer and mixed into the pinko koolaide to give it some punch. Bottoms up, Komrades. She should get her ass kicked for saying something so damned stupid. She's not fit to lead this country.

Reagan's trickle down is a sham. everyone who understands economics knows it is. when you make people richer they don't just decide to trickle some down out of the goodness of their hearts. and when you take from the middle to enrich the wealthy, it lowers demand and the economy shrinks. Please enlighten me as to why it is that the business my daughter works for does not create the job she presently holds. I await your reply. I await your reply. there may be some special circumstances I don't know about. what is her job? who does she work for. most jobs are created because of DEMAND. a landscape company won't hire someone to cut lawns, if there is no demand to cut lawns. and if I want to pay someone to cut my lawn, I will. and SOMEONE will be paid to cut it. My neighbors and I create a landscaping job based on our demand to have someone cut our lawns. If we decide to cut our own, the job goes away. JimW
You could complete the quote as she stated it. Of course she did blow it and nobody will care what her point actually was. “You know that old theory, trickle-down economics? That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.” "I have ... put a lump of ice into an equal quantity of water ... if a little sea salt be added to the water we shall produce a fluid sensibly colder than the ice was in the beginning, which has appeared a curious and puzzling thing to those unacquainted with the general fact."- Joseph Black

The worst part about the proponents of trickle down economics is that the supporters of the policy don't even believe it works, it's just a talking point to justify enriching the super wealthy.
