Cape May?

I've done very well in Cape May in the past however, the geographical makeup of Cape May and how it angles and hooks around to the Lighthouse Point makes the affects of weather out front a bit different. Call the guys at Jim's Bait and Tackle…they give you quality accurate reports!

Bait and wait! Fight through the dogfish and you may be rewarded. There are tons of doggies there. Remember to check your leader for nicks as their sandpaper skin will damage it. Catch shark, cuss loudly, check leader, and retie new rig. Repeat this process 100 times and you may catch that cow. I personally get pissed and quit before the cow comes through and sware I will never fish the CM surf again.

yes i think they usually start doing their beach replenishment work in fall, but you can work around that. nice fish do get caught here. the past couple falls have been epicly bad though especially last fall. i honestly prefer to fish wildwood over cape may. best of luck and like the gent above said check in at Jims bait just over the bridge, or you can stop at hands bait just before the bridge. both run by great guys.
