Hi guys. Finally decided it was time for a commando this morning when I went to reload my old AquaSkiz bag and noticed it is in tatters. It's litterly falling apart. I sent them a message through the contact us link on their website and got no answer. When I call the number on their site I get a message that says the number isn't in service. Are they still i business? Is there an alternate way to contact them (other than Facebook..... I don't & won't use that)?

Thanks

JD

Just talked to a guy with a newish Commando. He said Tom is in very limited production.

Contact Jamie at Flatlander. Great service. 3-4 weeks right now.

Don't want to start a bag thing, but logic would say a bag can be awesome, but if you can't get one, it becomes sorta useless, right?

Tom is a great guy and a great bag builder ....you have to remember a lot of the bag builders do this as a hobby and not a full time thing .... I am friends with Tom and actually spoke with him today. I don't think there will be many bags offered for sale in the near future. I always tell him guys want bags but it's all what he wants to do ....it's not just you who has shown interest in a bag ....and I let him know ever time I hear or see someone interested ....We will se what happens this winter. But I would try to out source another bag for now ...possibly someone has a used commando they would be willing to sell

Same with Nick from Ebbpoint. Off on a new venture. Bag building is time consuming and not really compatible with someone who is trying to get something else off the ground. I told him about the flurry of requests for his Beachwalker bags over the summer. He could sell 20 of them in a day, but the time to get that done just isn't available. I'm glad there is some new blood in the game to keep these type of bags available.

Tom is a nice guy, and be builds the best bag out there. I consider myself

fortunate that I got him at the right time when I made my purchase. Ya

gotta remember, these bag builders are not companies, they are small

garage or basement businesses done on the side at there homes. Its

not enough to pay the bills.

If you cant get a Commando bag now, im sure its because the

builder is enjoying the fishing season. Cant blame him.

Thanks gentlemen.

Bummed I missed the opportunity to get a Commando.

I'll look for another brand bag. Mine is falling apart and won't make it through this fall.

I'll post this in another thread but if anyone can recommend a high end / top quality surf plug bag that I can buy right away it would be appreciated. PM's welcome.

Thanks again.

You are running out of choices. If you are looking for a truly well laid out bag go with Flatlander and think about attachments using their buddy lock system. There is also Gear Up and there is always the cobra bags from Aquaskinz.. Hint I gave fishing Bro one of the latter bags when my FL came in.
