Well, what did you expect? it was head high to 3ft overhead surf at the beach today :o Sure I've caught fish in rough water before, but certainly not this rough. Try again next week, specifically Tuesday if you want a better shot at it. No doubt fish are around, I will give it a go whenever the water is just a little bit calmer.

What? No invite? Darn kids want to catch all the fish themselves.   :beatin:

There are bass out in the surf still. (Trust me) But when the surf gets this crazy you should be looking to the bay where the fishing and conditions are better. If you get a period of small seas try the beach but right now is Bay time.

The bay is loaded with stripers ! Pick a spot and you'd probably catch a few.  Go to a different spot and you'd probably catch a few more.  Go to yet another spot and you'd probably catch even more again.  The numbers add up quickly and you'd have a blast catching tons of these in a week ..........

Pics won't upload but dinks from 12-16" are everywhere.

Winch is spot on: Beach or Bay but choose wisely.  Go get 'em!
