jjdbike
Good question. It's supposed to be beautiful this weekend with west wind but a big & frequent bump in the surf. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I'm guessing it's still a tad warm. Although I'll be there this & next weekend, I think we need a few weeks and some colder temps. Clams are never a bad thing after a good blow. If you use eclairs in your example, he will get it right away. MikeMc
Bristol Lou
How did we ever catch fish before the internet
squandel
It can't be any worse then it was BEFORE the blow, at least for me. At the end of the day, you just gotta get out there and fish. the only thing I knew how to do was keep on keepin' on
JMB
How did we ever catch fish before the internet I don't know Lou, but somehow it was done. If you use eclairs in your example, he will get it right away. MikeMc
Duff
How did we ever catch fish before the internet Only that group of old guys that sat in the back corner of the shop caught the fish. You know - Remember when you would pretend to look at tackle as you slowly creeped closer to hear what they were saying. Then it got real quiet. work2much
NOT too sure about the West wind. This time around we Jersey Coast needs more of the gusty NE wind to set things off. IMO
Bristol Lou
It's a bit dirty in the Seaside area but not too awful rough. There are very few fishing but if I bait fished I would be soaking clams now.
NIGHT STRIKES
Was hoping that these winds out of the South the last few days would knock down the water temps but looking at todays readings up and down the coast they seemed to have jumped up some - Good 5-8 degrees above normal for this time of the year. RedHook
I just hope the storm replaces the small stripers I keep catching most nights with some decent sized ones.
