daves745t
Inshore weather calling for predominantly west winds anywhere from 10-20knts, seas 6-9ft. Pretty sporty. It's my only opportunity to get out there in the next 4-6 weeks so I'm committed to going. I've been out there multiple times, but this is probably the worst forecast I've had to deal with. Any thoughts? Opinions? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post in this open forum. Perseverance
Wind doesn't bother me much but we will see a heavy swell from that hurricane offshore. Will not be ideal conditions and it will be tough to pull a fish. Im not saying it cant be done but be prepared.

pakalolo
gonna take a few tides to clear up all the runoff from the rain tomorrow, might not clear with the swell churning it up. On the other hand there will be perfect surfing conditions on the North Side. Some of the surfing websites have already started forecasting conditions there and are giving it a green light Friday and Saturday, OH BOY! IN FAVOR OF COMMERCIAL FISHING AND SURFING THE NORTH SIDE MAY THE RICH GET RICHER!! FISH ARE FOOD!! Remobeater
I am in the same boat... well, more like same shore. I was thinking about bringing my kayak, but I think I changed my mind. Looks like its surf fishing only. Its my first trip so I hope it doesn't completely ruin it for me.
Master Debaiter
I wouldn't bring the yak trusts me... Two weeks ago we see a yakker get caught in the rip and poor guy took forever to get in calm waters. We could see his exhaustion Boston Strong

Well what is an average catch around now; what would you expect from a few days there? Seems like striper fishing should be starting to pick up as we start approaching the end of October and it seems like the Albies are still around. East Ender
Well,, what do you want to do? Catch small fish with a few 15-20 pounders with 100 close friends or maybe one cow all by yourself? Lol if I could tell how the fishing is going to be in 2 days from now I would be rich$$$ lol just go when you can , have fun and hope for the best...
