saltyh2ofly
On my way out to the tip of the Hook I noticed the beach is now almost gone with the high tide mark about the width of the Rangers truck. This is about 200 yards before you reach the end. The past few weeks of harr ENE winds has done a job yet the water in front of you is now deeper....no structure but nice depth. saltyh2ofly
Full Moon Yes but the water was further up than usual. Work out there a few days a week and this seems abnormal, not to worry it will be filling in as the southern beaches erode.
blind squirl
With that last south blow I saw a long a mouth of sand headed you was. Someone else reported here but there was a 1/4 mile wide stream of sand in the water all headed north. Still looking for my first 30.
Sudsy
(no, this is not a spot burn, we all know the Hook exists . There's no mention of fishing or fish or structure or anything that would attract a crowd) I just wanta play everyday despite small nagging injuries -- and go home to a woman who appreciates how full of crap I truly am. ~ Crash Davis Social Distancing since 1962
cartopper
There has been mention of the hook specifically in the reports. Rules are worthless unless enforced. blind squirl
That's ok they say northern Monmouth county or somoco all the time. No one enforces the rules except when they feel like it. That's why I say we bury the reports thread once and for all. Still looking for my first 30.

Fishing reports are fine while keeping mention to location as general as possible. However, you are right, rules are not being enforced. "Starving dogs begging for scraps. fishinambition
The hooks sucks anyway. Anyone who chases reports there, deserves what they find.

blind squirl
Jon,the rules aren't enforced. Whole lotta talk about nothing. ( I do add to this sometimes ) and for the most part I like doing the work myself. I like to hunt for my own fish. I find it more rewarding. Plus do we really need someone to tell us the bunker are here in June or the mullet are around in September? Just my .02 cents..... Plus I just like seeing pics of bass. ( not dead ones)or other catches of the day. Still looking for my first 30.
