Report as little or as much detail as you would like to provide the reader but please don't post specific street names or areas. A specific spot is too much information! Doing so only adds to the traffic in certain areas and will cause an internet feud. Try to keep other inquires and rants in separate threads.

For example, you can say that you caught fish in Ocean County but saying that you got them at Ocean Beach is a no-no. Feel free to share any thoughts you might have on local conditions and "I got the old skunkaroo" reports" are OK too.

Monmouth County

Ocean County

Atlantic County

Cape May County

"In the back" - Rivers and Bays

North Jersey for the Hudson and other backwaters

Please post smartly meaning ==don't spot burn,,, adding pic is fine But block out any and all identifying reference points like houses and lighthouses, inlets etc.let photoshop be your friend.. best to take pic with ocean in foreground or fish lying on the beach.

The fish we love to catch is in peril the laws say we can keep two plus another w/ special permit. I suggest we (you) let more swim away helping to insure a future with striped bass. Let your fishing moral code decide not the law.

Keep our beaches and bays clean. Give a HOOT don't pollute!

Decided to fish a bit later today and catch the tide turn.  NE wind was pushing some really nice white water.  Great water, but could not find much happening.  Did pick one small striper on a blue Vision, but that was it.  When I pulled him out he barfed up a crab.  Must be the only food out there right now.  Can only hope we see more bait fish start to move in.  Wind will be staying with us for a while.  Will go back to starting before dawn tomorrow.

did my reports thread get deleted because I left out "2014"?

No, there were two (I didn't even notice the missing 2014 :freak: )

I liked the bit nightshade wrote about conserving the resource so I left that one

Found super finicky small bass in the back of MoCo tonight. Plenty of hits, some big explosive topwater hits - but only one taker

Threw the damned bag and the entire wallet of teasers, but the only thing they would look at was a Sparky blue swirl mini Atom (my new favorite mullet imitation)

Last night - different day, same result

Almost same result, small bluefish were around.

And with that beautiful NE wind kicking a nice chop into an outgoing tidal creek that should be (but wasn't) teeming with bait. Whitewater rolling over a a bar into deeper water - perfect, absolutely perfect conditions I got out of the car expecting fish on every cast.

Something's not right. Last nights plan was a no brainer, an absolute given that there should have been at least an OK bite. I went out looking for teeners but there should at least have been small bass, not just chicken blues.

Where the hell are the fish ?
