luckyOC
As always, this is the place for your reports... as little or as much detail as you care to share, with hopefully a good bit less focus posted on exact spots, times, and locations. Any and all word from the local waters welcome here, and "no fish" reports are welcome as well; always good to have gotten out there at least, wasn't it? luckyOC
Wanted to post this report... as Erik said "what and adventure"  ...good buddy of mine hooked up with a nice drum.... gave up a good fight, and the line gave up the ghost right in the wash, we where bum'd.... then a few mins later my rod just south goes down, i run over and grab it.... thougt it was a shark or something... turned out the shock leader and sinker from the recent mishap got tangled in my line, and I landed the drum, which was a good thing, just to safely remove the hardware.... i called it a win-win, so technically i caught 1/2 a 47" drum....     Also got my PB this season.... 52". Dave told me about the fathom 15's holding enough line.... well i heard that echoing in my ear about 45seconds into that fun fight... i managed it tho

rhumphress
No big drum to report but, Saturday was the best day so far this year. Countless kingfish all over 13", 5 Flounder of differing size and several blues over 18". Had a great dinner sunday night for the family. I even smoked the bluefish and have to admit they were rather tasty. Kinda like fish jerky.. Â The wind sure scared off alot of folks it seemed... There was not to many folks out there. I to was thinking about staying home after I had seen the weather reports but im glad I did go!
