I own the 10000. Not same model... but no wobble. Used it on ~half my nights this year so its had about 25 trips into very heavy salt exposure + sand. Have always rinsed well, occt'l anti corrosion spray, and clean/relube high grit areas (line roller, etc) twice. Very happy with its performance

Fishing kills me exactly as it keeps me alive.

IMO shimano fell off with their latest releases... I purchased one, and returned it the next day, and have continued to try them because frankly I wanted to like the reel. The rotor is out balance... picked up an ultegra, and felt the same thing.. It doesnt visible wobble (not something you can see on video), but you can definetly feel it if the reel you were using/handling previously was balanced. if it doesn't bother you, then have it.. the ones I've felt were noticeable enough. Especially when loaded with line and retrieved... Havent felt one yet that has not wobbled. I returned it for an older spheros, and couldn't be any happier with it. The older spheros fb are an awesome reel for the price

10000SW here.....I know your concerned about the smaller models however I love this reel I've caught some decent rockfish as well as a southern ray the size of a car hood and I really had to really put some heat on him to stop him and I was able to even pull him off the bottom and reel him in fighting the surf....Saragosa SW's are absolute tanks!

Just wanted to chime in with a good experience with the Saragosa SW. I have run multiple 6000's, 8000's and a 10000 this past spring and summer season on charters. I run 30/40lb on the 6000SW, 50lb on the 8000SW and 65lb on the 10000SW (all PP Super8Slick). These are by far the best large/offshore spinning reels I've used in many years of guiding. On a typical inshore trip here in SC, we need to have something that will handle midsize sharks (from 20lb bonnetheads to 80lb blacktips) and large rays (30-50lb cownose and other rays are frequent). Whether we are fishing for bull redfish, tarpon, or cobia, we have a million sharks and rays to contend with. Many, many times I've had to lock down 20+lbs of drag to horse a big ray out of the mud underneath us, and I've not had a Saragosa fail yet.

I'm also absolutely impressed with the anti-corrosive coating. A typical summer day of charters for us is being on the water 8 AM to 9 PM, running three trips back to back in the 3-4 hour range. These reels spend more time wet and salty than they do clean and dry. At the end of the day, a quick rinse with freshwater is nice, but it doesn't always happen, I'll admit. I've had zero corrosion issues with these reels.

My only complaint with the Saragosa would be weight. I wish they would have shaved a few more ounces off. In my case, we run lots of family charters, and even the 6000 model is a bit heavy for kids under 13 or so. I'd love to see a 4000 model added, something that would be like a beefed up Stradic CI4+. Actually, what I'd really like is a 5000/6000 version of the Stradic CI4+ that had the CI4+ weight savings in a Gosa 5k/6k format with 20lbs of dual drag!  With that in mind, I've added a Sustain 5000 and 10000 to the mix and am going to see if they are as durable as the Saragosa.
