st-a-skier
Headed out to Lovell's in the Harbor Islands for a camping trip this weekend. Since there will be no option to go get supplies, are there any suggestions on what i should bring out to increase the chances of success? Obviously, bringing the surf rod throwing 2-6oz. Mike J.
Not sure but sometimes a lot of the shoreline is off limits because of the Plovers and Tern Colony. I would check to make sure you will have access to Black Rock Channel and the Narrows. As far as lures bring a few top waters, swimmers and needlefish. Live eels would be my top pick for that area followed closely by big metal lipped swimmers. Look for the terns working the rips. Good Luck and dont forget the Deet
clopes
Biting flies suck out there too. Jig head and sluggo would be in my bag too to work the channel as well as a bucktail or three.

Good luck!
