richs
My kid wrapped some weeds around the prop. No reverse and forward works in bursts. Did a fuse go? It's about 25 years old and never a problem until this. Thanks. No more skunks. Maybe you didn't hear about it, you been gone a long time.

NautiBuoys
Don't believe there is any internal fuse on a trolling motor; it would be external on the wiring harness or to where wh connected. Also, when a fuse does go, it's everything, not just reverse. Pull the prop and free the line and see if that resolves your issues. You may get lucky... richs
Forward works well after cleaning prop. I think the switch in the tiller is the culprit. Thx No more skunks. Maybe you didn't hear about it, you been gone a long time.
