Patrick9915
Want to try to save a few bucks instead of paying a buck a pop for Zoom Horny Toads but don't know much about pouring or injecting soft plastics. I've seen the videos and I get the basic idea. I am just having trouble finding a mold for a frog. Once I find that, then I'll have questions on different rubber formulas and additives. Jig Man
I have never seen a mold for the Horny toad. Lurecraft does sell a few frog molds. I have used one for several years with very good success. Regular plastisol formula, anis scent and various colors.
rhahn427
Check bearsbaits, caneycreek or basstackle for molds. If they don't hen them the get some silicone and make a copy and pour your own .......... But you'll use a lot of lures before you break even

Jig Man
Wow, these molds are expensive! Â The silicon ones from lurecraft are pretty reasonably priced. Aluminium molds get expensive.
Patrick9915
Ahh I see now. When you said Lurecraft, I thought you meant Jann's netcraft. I'm on the right site now. Yes. These are reasonable.
Shadow card
Go see Paul Adams' silicone injecton mold video, a horny toad would not be another way to re create a toad without an injecton mold because of the thin legs.
Jig Man
Mold 903 (frog) is what I have used for several years.
