DngrMse
I heard that they discontinued the 10, it will now be 10'6. Don't have any info on lure ratings though. My 9ft is my go to rod, but I'm looking forward to the new one.
Master Debaiter
I've owned two Tiraljo's... Great rods Boston Strong
gantz88
God I hope it will be anywhere near the quality and actions of the rods they have in Japan..
gray gables
from the tackle shop I go to down near the cape they are awesome rods.
scoobydoo
God I hope it will be anywhere near the quality and actions of the rods they have in Japan.. The materials / composition are borrowed from JDM rods. And the actions were taylored for northeast surf fisherman.......BY very accomplished surf fisherman/ fisherman....... The guides and spacing are done perfectly....Zero line slap at all....using multiple reels and lures......That can't be said for some other popular/ expensive surf rods that i've owned. Anyone about to pull the trigger on a CTS....Legend....or Century......Really needs to take a serious look at the new rods... My favorite stick of all time was the 100mh2........The replacement..so to speak......Is truly an improvement...... There aren't a million models coming out.....but for the lengths and actions....they set the bar high...for hundreds less....with top quality components Ask your shop about em.......they'll all tell ya the same thing.......Two shops have told me they cast better than anything in the store. THAT"S SAYIN SOMETHING "Panacheless is no way to go through life" Tims
levari
Scooby, I read many posts of your praising the previous model and killing the StCroix Legend. I own the Tiraljo 10' mh2 and 8'..Not in the same league as StCroix Legend (in my opinion)...Why do you think the newer model is so terrific that the fish will jump out of the ocean just for the privilege to get caught by the 2014 model ..? I find it ironic guys are get impressed by JDM stuff. In my recent trip to Japan, I did not find anything impressing over there other than squid jigs and the 20% discount on all Stella SWB...everywhere...... LOL....fuggin Levari....lol Cuz it's shiny, new and exciting that's why!! I don't know where you're going with that first paragraph.....But you know i don't like that 10'6" .75-4 oz legend. Even at the price i paid...i couldn't justify keeping it for more than one spring..the 2-6 is a very good rod. I'll agree...Not much is impressive JDM for surf. Other than some kewl lc reels.....For Tuna.....wow.....A usdm Blue rose would be great ...... For freshwater bass.....They have tons of DC reels.....even in their scorpion/ curado line up....The double paddle handle option on their spinners i'd be all over if offered here. Ever fish a poison glorious rod?? Compare it to a cumulous or GLX....It'll make a legend extreme or kistler feel like it was from the 90's. Daiwa has some cool jdm stuff too for tuna jiigging...as well. as crazy ..goofy special edition reels...oh...and megabass/ ito.......that...and there was the reel called the pixy/ presso..... Different strokes for different folks... .We've never bumped into each other on the water...so we definately fish differently. I'd still buy ya a beer though.... Master Debaiter
Levari next time you're in Japan check out Cosmo Tech....difficult to get in U.S. I think they would give Century and CTS some serious competition Boston Strong
