rwalter7
How do you deal with ground hogs? I have one that has a tunnel near where the footing drain exits the foundation. The drain is about 4 to 5 feet below the surface but it bugs me. I found a couple of other 4 inch holes in the yard. Where the heck do they put the soil that that tunnel through? bospa357
.22LR dispatches them pretty good. I now have neighbors behind me though so I have a pretty high powered pellet rifle, but usually requires a well placed head shot. They have a tough hide. gray gables
shot plenty with my pellet gun. A well place shot below the neck or one behind the head works like a charm.

Olin
A killer dachshund like mine would do the trick too . Or a small leg hold trap would do it too , just be careful you don't catch neighbor's dog.

rwalter7
I have a good pellet gun. the problem is having the time to sit and wait. I guess trapping would be good but I'd rather see it and any offspring exterminated considering where it is burrowing. For the last few days there has been no activity near the apparent holes after dumping a box of mothballs in them. Just wondering if it moved on.
