Cascade
Yesterday I deceided to use my heat gun to help remove old beach stickers from the painted bumper of my truck. Bad move. Even though I didn't think I was giving it too much heat, the paint came off with the sticker(s). Careful, don't make my mistake.
chewy2000913
I use a heat gun when i remove stickers and previous dealership decals off the rear of every car i detail. As soon as the sticker warms up i just scrape it off with my fingernail. After the face of the sticker has beem removed i use a degreaser/paint thinner to remove excess sticker that is still there. Never failed or caused any damage. Not sure what you did to make the paint come off too. Wow!
Cascade
I'm not sure either. I do about the same as you, get it a bit soft , lift corner with finger tips and it oozes off.
