HeyNine-ah
Gents, Attending an event March 28 & 29. One of the days is a golf event and I don't golf. Was hopeful I could find some fish within a couple hours. Any help via pm would be appreciated.

The Thames River is traditionally a good place for holders, and in past years, I've found that's about the right time for these little, weathered schoolies to get active again...contact The Fish Connection in Preston for up to date details,..it's probably 20 min or so from Foxwoods
albacized
PS...that fishery requires a licence, and you can pick up a three day pass, although I'm no longer sure what the price of that would be since I last fished there more than 5 years ago
PaulH
Definitely get a hold of the Fish Connection. Great source for current fishing reports and advice. You might want to take a look at the Connecticut Costal Access Guide. Anything from Old Saybrook to the RI border is less than a 45 minute drive.
