Keltan
Pictures are from the Daiwa site . This is wrong. After only three years to launch a new model. What to do now that they have SALTIGA 2010 model? The first Saltiga 4500 I bought in 2002 ..... and remained as the top model almost a decade. Now Daiwa started as Shimano . .. . out a new model every two or three years. . . You‘re at the mercy of whatever talent you have
hiramasa
Yes but it is only in sizes that they dont currently have, but still i agree with you, but i guess technology is changing so quickely, they need to keep updating.. What i am interested in is how the Dogfight now fits in with a Saltiga 8000h? Seems a bit like like weird marketing to me!

Tailslap
Basically two new models added to the 2010 Saltiga series but they come with the upgraded mag sealed bearings and mag sealed line roller I think. The rest of the reel will be the same as 2010 model. That's the way I see it so far with the info I have seen.
ripitsik
Seems like daiwa (au) is stating that the reel would release in March, while daiwa(jp) says May I'm in a hunt for a 5000h, I'd pull the trigger on one of these beauties. I don't know if I can wait until beginning of season(May) to buy it MA.
