Used to do it a bunch. Alot of fun. Used go all out and have it kegged and on tap. Had some reall winners, and a few losers. But its all good when you made it

Wifey 'discourages' it in the new kitchen nowadays. Had wort go over one two many times.

Which reminds me...I'm still in the market for an old electric stove for the basement

I'm trying to get back into it but I'm having a hard time finding time. I brewed a few batches over the years but was never consistent. My sisters bf is brewing steady and kegging. Hes tossed around the idea of a startup.

I probably would have started up again this fall but got a new fish tank instead. Maybe later this year.

I do 10 gal batches in a keg(called a keggle) I cut the top off.   All grain is the way to go but maybe not to start.  There are HERMs and RIMs brewing systems.  Google them.  Too complicated IMO.  I settled on brew in a bag. BIAB.  Google this also.  It is a fun hobby.  Bottling...forget it.  Keg into 5 gal corny kegs.  These are old soda kegs.  Get or make a kegerator.  You will be happy for years.   Morebeer is where I get most of my supplies.

Been doing it 3-4 times per year for the past few years.  All-grain set up.  Converted a 10 gallon homies drink cooler into a mash tun.  Use an outdoor burner with a 10 gallon stainless steel pot.  Lots of people have told me to stay away from the aluminum turkey fryer pots.  I have a cold plate inside a jockey box I made.  2 corney kegs, one about 3/4 full of a Sierra Nevado Torpedo clone and the other full of StarSan cleaner.  I got a small fridge I've been meaning to convert into a kegerator.  Bought all my stuff little by little and pretty much have just about everything I need at this point.  Wouldn't mind a larger kettle with a false bottom and spigot to make step mashing easier.

Been making wine for about 10 years.  I find that much easier than making beer.  Crush grape.  Add yeast.  Wait.  Press Grape.  Add to carboy.  Wait.  Transfer grape juice and oak it.  Wait.  Bottle.  Wait.  Done.

It's the natural progression. We all started with freshwater, then cichlids. I've got a small reef now.

90 FOWLR for free though!!!! You have no choice but to say yes.

Agreed on the progression.

Yeah, my neighbor travels a lot for work and I was taking care of his tank a lot anyway. He only had it since last January. He bought the whole setup new then and only had it running til septempers and gave it all to me. I took it as an established system with fish, tons of LR, sump, pumps, light, power heads, skimmer, plumbing, RODI... Literally everything. All I had to do was move it all, plug and play!

There's a beer with the tank in the background lol.
