riverrunner
I got nothing. I'm just beginning to heal up from rifle season. I missed some warm days before this big freeze to get out. A lot of ice on the river now, although there are a few places I can think of to fish. Maybe next week. kingfisher2424
Do any of you guys hit the susquehanna for stripers in the spring? I thought I heard its illegal to specifically target them because its a spawnig ground. used to rock hop out there killing smallies with a fly rod. Shad run is fun too I work, I wife, and I fish
riverrunner
SIL and friend....nothing major, but some fish. They caught about 25 smallie dinks along with this flat head and a few small stripers. Very cold out when these were taken. Â Â Â They got my gson out for some fresh air. Â Â The ice should begin to dissipate soon, it's very dangerous to be out in a boat now. It can all look clear and the next thing you know you are dodging huge thousand pound ice bergs. The rivers at 11.5' right now at H-Burg gage. Â Did you get a buck? Mike D
Beautiful looking fish TJ. Nothing nicer looking than a well marked, clear water, river muskie. Real healthy too. Hope to find some water this weekend. "Sea shore washed by the suds and the foam, been here so long he's got to callin it home"
