TACKLE JUNKIE
ICAST 2013 is right around the corner and I've been seeing a few things pop up. What rumors are floating around or what known items do you think will be announced at ICAST? I'll get things started with: PENN Conflict. A slightly lighter Battle with one more ball bearing and stealth coloration. http://www.stripersonline.com/t/895708/new-penn-reels An all Titanium reel that's claimed to be unaffected by the elements. http://www.stripersonline.com/t/893434/new-reel-of-titanium Van Staal VM275 http://www.stripersonline.com/t/897671/being-tested

55chev
The VM 275 was field tested last week up on the Cape. It handled tuna, 70+ inch fish perfectly. It looks like a beast!

Wish they had put that Conflict style handle knob on the new spinfisher... hate the handle knob on the spinfisher A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices. – William James
Longgone
Well I really like the looks of the new Conflict. Was getting ready to get a new 5000 or 6000 size spinner but might hold out till these come out & see if there worth it.

AxBeetle
I think there will be a Penn Conflict in my garage soon. Was going to get a battle after seeing a guy boat 15-20 good sized stripers on one, but if the conflict is lighter with a foam handle, its a done deal. Classic .........as we continue on.......
