Yeah, so does everyone else, apparently. I don't ever remember any of you pinkos and generation X'ers or Y'ers demanding more taxes on YOURSELVES. You acted like someone drowned your puppy when the temporary 2% payroll tax cut expired.

Well, just don't blame me for the runaway debt. I did the most any American can do to hold down the debt, I voted against the Democrat in every presidential election since I was old enough to vote. Unfortunately, due to the inherent fairness of the electoral college system, my vote has NEVER been counted as Ct always went for the Democrat.

Not so good

How much more should I have paid?
How much more are you and yours willing to pay?

Here's what you say.... raise taxes... but just on the top tax brackets.

It's simply allowing a TEMPORARY tax cut to expire.
clearly they are doing better than the rest of us,
they don't NEED the TEMPORARY tax cut to continue,
and the Trickle down crap is debunked,
so there is no advantage to allowing it to continue.

it ADDS to the deficit needlessly.

You wanted the taxes to go up only on other people.

Here's a novel idea...Match spending to revenues, not the other way around.

Who are the boomers?

Many of them were the kids back in 67 and 68 who were tuning in, turning on, dropping out, and burning their bras. Basically a bunch of spoiled, white, upper middle class kids who were rebelling against the 1950's style system that they grew up in and gave them the comfortable life styles they were acustomed to. I guess they thought that if you took enough drugs and listened to enough Grateful Dead you could make the world a better place. Good vibrations don't put food on the table. Ironic isn't it? The free love generation is now getting to be on the other side of the fence.

I guess that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Humans seem to have an incredibly short term memory. It seems like every new generation feels like they are somehow unique, like the world was just waiting for centuries for them to arrive on the scene and solve all the problems that humans have been facing since the beginning of time, and that the world owes them for all the talent and knowledge that they alone possess.

your vote is counted in every election. IT figures in to who CT supports.
