2012 hobie outback. Leaning issue??

Recommended Posts

Make sure that your seat is in correctly and that BOTH side straps are equal, you might not feel it, but you could be just putting a little more weight on the right cheek.;)

Moving your butt even an inch to one side or the other will change the level of the kayak. That being said I slide , twist , and move all over my kayak and really don't care which way Im leaning as long as it gets me back to my truck at the end of the night.

Curious to hear the resolve. Did you live near ACK or did you have to ship it back to TexaS?

simple, lean over but it does strain your back after a while...

if it leans over and OP is not comfortable with it, return it or have the vendor take a look at it and see if they can remedy it.

I've seen this happen a hand full of times with various kayaks. Typically, the paddler can't center his weight in the kayak or is just to big and uncoordinated.

I would be shocked if it's a boat issue. Everytime I saw this, the hull was fine regardless of the MFG
