Mike, that's silly. Why would you need skill and practice to cast a fly rod? I think they've just made the perfect rod, anybody can cast it, any distance, with any experience level - and for only $250. No more double hauling here! Whew!
Maybe it's just a super forgiving (moderate?) blank that can handle an overline or two? No idea, but I won't be chasing one anytime soon
