OK guys and gals, I've been seeing lots of bikes lately in the Random images thread, so I figured that we should start a separate thread where we can show off our rides. Feel free to tell us all about 'em....motor and tranny, paint, one-off stuff, the more technical, the better. I'm sure there's a lot of cool stuff out there, so start posting. I'll start it off with my shovelhead. 1000

S&S cases and jugs - 4-3/4" S&S stroker wheels and rods, ported and polished heads converted to dual plug with Crane single fire ignition and Dyna coils, narrowed apes with internal wiring (by me), handmade forward controls designed and built by me from 6061 aluminum I got from the dumpster at work, lowered 1" in the rear with Progressive Suspension shocks, and 2" in the front, 1980 FXWG dual disc front end with Progessive Suspension gut, S&S 570 cam with Jim's lifters and chrome moly adjustable pushrods. Stoch shovel 3.5 gallon fatbobs, and early shovel dash, plus a whole bunch of other stuff I can't think of right now. I've owned this bike since 1980 and I been hit twice by cars (once in Mass, and once in Ontario, Canada) and back when I used to drink, I drove it off the road in NH. I have a Road King, but my soul is tied up in this bike. If you ride, you know what I mean...

Here's mine, a 2000 Heritage Softail tc88 all stock motor(for now) some extra chrome and stuff. Bike has 17136 on it and will be in need of some work soon, figuring out now what I want to do to it for a spring job, gonna do cams and cam plate myself(gear driven) maybe a bore kit, who knows. I just don't want a fuel injected bike that's why I have this one and I love it. Its my first bike in over 20 years, last one being a 1977 Super Glide, which I gave away, AHHHHHHHHHHHNHHNHNH

Zim, I just got a Boner looking at that chopper......

Remind me never to show it to you in person. It's hard enough keeping it clean without scraping nut butter off it.
