I'm glad there going to study it to confirm that what all fishermen who go there already know.  Perhaps in another 6 years they'll be ready to do something about it.  By then it'll be nothing but seals and plovers. . . . .mad.gif

Well I figure most folks could care less about the striped bass fishery but i'm guessing it's only a matter of time before there is a gruesome white shark related death on the outer cape. Then something might be done about the seals...........

you most likely are right, sad to say that someone will need to lose their life or come darn close to it for people to understand and be spurned into action.

The cape could be in for their own demise if the sharks start to show up in greater and greater numbers. so that 70%+ drop off will start in on the summer crowd, I know I don't want to go to the beach when I know I could be on the food chain.

unfortunately it is going to take a long time for things to get back to normal if they decide to do anything about the problem.
