An SKS is literally too big for kid. Lever action is so 1870ish. At least something cool like a Mini Ruger?

My kid is funny.

He likes very traditional stuff.

I like the tactical stuff.

He'd love a Rossi lever in 38 special paired with a 38 revolver.

I like the AR-15 with red dot sights and my Beretta.

The only traditional stuff that catches my eye are the double barrel shotguns.

Got mine for 100 off my neighbor.  Nowadays?  Yeesh.  I've seen them at shows for 350-450.  Insane.  I just got it b/c it's a dirt cheap fun gun with dirt cheap ammo.  Of course, that's not the case anymore.

I go to shows in MD/VA/GA and have seen 2 in I don't know how many years. Unless someone started making them again?  Might be the case.

haha definitely.  Had a lot of fun with it until I ran out of cheapo rounds.  Went to a show in 08, and since then I wished I'd just flipped all that ammo.
