Lake Mead

Heading to Vegas for a week. People keep telling me to target the stripers in Lake Mead but after visiting the marina a few years ago and seeing how the stripers took on the characteristics of a friggin goldfish I have no motivation to do so. My 3 boys were throwing popcorn and chips off the dock
while schooling stripers and CARP(aka cockroach with fins) would join in on a feeding frenzy. My eldest said to me "Dad you don't need all those lures just use buttered popcorn..." This was after leaving Bass Pro Shops where I spent a fortune on some AC Plugs... shakehead.gif

Use an yellow sponge cut into chunks and "fly line" to the carp with light gear. They fight real well.
