When I live my life as true to honest as can be for 57 years I can point fingers.
What was condescending to you in my remarks ? My twist at satire and the mirror ?
If so, that's not condescending, it's sad on your part for having a lack of humor.

Unless he's boinked her and knows her sexual history, like spying on her through a window, how does he know she's a **** ?
How many SOL members have daughters on birth control ? How many of them have pre-marital sex ? Anyone who says
they don't, well, great for them. But in this world, most teenage girls are.
So why would we condone Rush talking about someone's daughter as a **** when so many nice girls/women are having sex ?
He just likes to make money, and that is what makes him immoral.

I read her testimony, she never said how much sex she's having or if she has any at all. She just says she uses contraceptives.

By the way you have missed the point that was made on the radio show.
Rush was not calling her names for being sexual, as you imply here.

He was making the point that she was demanding that I, you, the American taxpayer fund her contraceptives. She said it cost her $3000 for contraceptives in grad school.

Rush made the point that for all her sex that she wanted, she was demanding, in essence, money from the govt. i.e. demanding money from the taxpayers.

It is an imperfect analogy, and he noted that on the radio as he was developing it.

HOWEVER the fact remains the woman was demanding that tax dollars be used to pay for her choices.

And she's a g damn liar too.  She can buy birth control pills at theTarget store in the strip mall right next to the G town campus for Nine dollars per month.  Rubbers are one dollar apiece.

I stand corrected, I was wrong making that statement. I should not point fingers ever. Thank you for pointing my flaw out. I will work on that, not that it happens often.

Women have personal problems that contraceptives help, like menstrual cramps that are alleviated by using them. When we subsidize politicians for working on average 2 1/2 days
a week while on vacation 4 weeks and those "fact finding" trips, along with the money they make from insider trading and WE pay their great healthcare, why shouldn't we subsidize
a health concern for women ?

Since the beginning of time, men have controlled governments. I'd bet that most women in our SOL households take care of the bills along with the house and kids and do a fantastic
job. Maybe it's time we had the opposite take place. How much worse can it get when we look at the state of the world as it is today run by men.
So giving them a little help when men are ripping off the world is not something out of the way to ask when they have to put up with us.

Of course he leaves out that fact that she is a third year law student, so I doubt her parents have much say in her sex life. Additionally, her primary testimony was about a friend who had an ovary removed because the insurance company wouldn't cover the prescription birth control she needed to stop the growth of cysts.

I would hope that her parents are more outraged by her thoughts/ideas than Limbaugh's comments.

They raised her, not him.

It seems to me that you often post claiming to be in the center, yet most of your posts come from a left point of view.
When you get called out on it, or should I say, corrected, you back track into the "they all suck" approach.

Finding Limbaughs comments worse than her train of thought is a microcosm of what's wrong with this country.

Lets concentrate on the testimony.  All her anecdotes were "I have a friend".  She apparently has no personal knowledge of the issue.  Virgin?  Homosexual?  Or distancing herself from lies?

She cited a poll taken at Georgetown about how much of a burden it would be for a woman to buy birth control.The answer was 40 percent?  You believe that?

She noted that another "friend" takes birth control pills to stop cramps.  That is not birth control, that is cramp control.

 

Now here are the real kickers.  Three thousand dollars.  A thousand a year for three years..  Guess what?  Its a bald faced lie. 

Sandra Fluke, labeled as a "reproductive rights activist" (whatever the hell that is) said in Congress:

Charlie Cook at National Review wanted to see how expensive birth control was in his neighborhood in Chelsea (not DC, but play along).  He stopped counting when he got to around three hundred free New York City rubbers and he did it in one single afternoon just a couple blocks from his house.  Lets do that math.  300 X0 = ZERO.

So birth control can cost a Georgetown law student nothing.  ZIP

(They are so easy to get that Cook found a bowl of free NYC rubbers in a shoe store.  A damned shoe store)
