Can anyone recommend decent winter gloves?

Thread Starter
Folks,

Despite substantial expenditure, I am still without acceptable winter gloves. By "winter gloves", I mean waterproof gloves suitable for work such as snow shoveling & operating the snow blower. I've tried Glacier Gloves which made my hands colder. Sealskins did the same thing, and they also leaked in between the fingers. I don't mdin paying for quality, but just can't seem to find anything. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I would take look at some of the gloves offered by LL Bean. Some of them look real toasty....just an idea!!!!

Get a good pair of GoreTex thinsulate gloves from Cabelas, BPS, or anywhere else. I've used them snowblowing years back and now use them when plowing on the ATV.

I would recommend warm gloves, that way, you fingers will stay warm. Warm gloves won't keep you hands warm if you fill them with water.

i know you said gloves, but have you tried burton mittens? I use them for snowboarding and for everyday tasks like shoveling and plowing. Super warm and not as limiting as people think.
or try spyder gloves.
