Red Tuna shirt club. Reviewed

Figured I would do a review on the Red Tuna shirt club. If you haven't heard of it, Red Tuna is a unique concept for fishermen who like interesting fishing t-shirts. On the first of each month, Red Tuna releases a new shirt design featuring a charter service or fishing lodge from a great fishing location, and all members receive the shirt in the mail a few days later.

Although I have only been a member for a short period I have found a tremendous value in this club. Not only are the shirts made of quality materials but made here in the USA. I find the shirts arrive early in the month in a nice package with some really cool designs. It is exciting to open each package and check them out. Not only does the club mail me a shirt but a postcard containing the who's,what and where's about the fishing destination on the shirt. The post card contain some awesome photos and lots of info.
The cost to join the club is only 20.00 a month and the shirt alone is worth that let alone the shipping and info card. Can't wait till the beginning of each month. If you enjoy fishing shirts and exotic locations then you gotta check them out.
Here's a link to get ya there....

Agreed. I have received two shirts so far and I'm very happy with the quality and design of each.

I'm looking forward to receiving my third shirt in a week or so.

Its not always about the spots we have been able to visit, but the ones we learn about and eventually save to visit, The ones we never new about. I myself love wearing shirts that celebrate the past time I charish so much. Be it a reel manufacturer, rod maker, fishing charter, lure line or a sport shop. I wear these types of shirts alot. Get to Georgia, Clarks Hill resevoir to be exact and get in on the stripes in there. Big fun herring eatin stripas.

I happened to come across a post where the club was showing the shirt for September. I liked the design so I joined the club. I got my shirt a few days later but is was not the same shirt I saw in the post?

Charleston, each month we release a new shirt around the first of the month that we ship to all of our current members. If you join in the middle of the month, you are immediately shipped one of our "retired" shirts as your first shirt. Which shirt you get for your first one depends on what we have in stock in your size. So even though you joined in the middle of September, you wouldn't necessarily get the September shirt.

However, since you really liked that Maverick shirt from Puerto Vallarta, send us an email at customer.service@and we'll figure out a way to get you that shirt. We want you to be 100% satisfied!

The Sept shirt was a pocket t. I think I remember them saying that if someone just joins and the run out of the months shirt they will send something else but after that they will receive the shirt of the month.

The red tuna club was a good idea, nice shirts. I didn't like the Sept shirt so much though, the logo was great but ne being the pig that I am just can't seem to have a white shirt on without spilling something on it. The Sept white one was no exception, I got it in the mail band wore it the next day. Wouldn't you know I stop at 7-11 and get a coffee and there was something funky with the lid and ny first sip and I have coffee down the front of my shirt. Coffee never comes all the way out of white. Luckily Oct is here and another shirt is coming ( hopefully not a white one) wink.gif

Stuff like that happens to me all the time. I can remember this one time I dropped a glass of beer and it splashed all over my shirt. Not wanting to smell like beer all night, I purchased another just like it the next morning and headed to a meeting. I stopped to get a coffee and as I finish paying for the coffee, I turn to leave only to have A young man run into me, crush the coffee against me. Spilling the coffee all over the 5 minute old shirt.

I need to drop a few pounds before I join so I can fit into the XL instead f the XXL and not pay the $2.50 fee for being heavy. beers.gif

Cool concept, love all the different shirts although I think half the fun is getting to the place to fish and then buy the shirt.
