Foamy Tap Water, Kitchen Sink Faucet Only

Kitchen sink which has a garbage disposal and also a line to the dishwasher.
A few seconds of foamy water when I 1st turn on the tap.Dissipates very quickly then runs clear and clean.
Has a slight odor and "off" taste. Ran the dishwasher through a few cycles w/o soap, and it still happens.
Any ideas?

TIA

Take the faucet head off and soak it in vinegar, or CLR for the day.

Clean it up real good and put it back together.

The facet should be on its own line so the dishwasher and garbage disposal shouldn't be feeding back into.

been letting the entire faucet assembly soak in CLR since noon. I knew right away that wasn't the problem, since the water straight out of the ss braided line did the same thing. Seems super aerated. I have a slight recollection something similar happened last summer. Maybe my township is doing something.................weird.

That would mean all faucets would act the same. Is that right?

Would it be it a Moen faucet with a pull down sprayer?

It is a Moen with a pull out.

See what you can google up or maybe just call Moen. There's a problem with the hose. Moen has been sending out replacements but some say the new hose has the same problem.

Thanks a bunch Jim!
Did a search and....................bingo! You are correct sir.
Who woulda thought? And that's bad pr if Moen is aware of the problem and still sending out units that are bad.
Time to switch it out.
