passiton
As usual, post reports here.......as little or as much detail as you would like to provide the reader. Please don't post specific street names or areas. Sometimes just a town name is too much information! Doing so only adds to the traffic in certain areas and it might cause an internet feud. For example, you can say that you caught fish in Ocean County but saying that you got them at Ocean Beach is a no-no. Feel free to share any thoughts you might have on local conditions and "I got the old skunkaroo" reports" are OK too. Some popular acronyms: SH- Sandy Hook NoMoCo- Northern Monmouth County SoMoCo- Southern Monmouth County SFZ-Spring Fling Zone (SRI-Shark River Inlet to MI- Manasquan Inlet) OC Ocean County IBSP-Island Beach State Park LBI- Long Beach Island AC- Atlantic County CISP- Corson's Inlet State Park CMC- Cape May County CMR- Cape May Rips DB- Delaware Bay NOBODY here has a pass to blow out someone else's candle in order to make theirs shine brighter. passiton
Posted by Hatman: What the heck, I'll go first. Went yesterday for my first trip of the spring/summer (broken kneecap sidelined me ) Actually caught a legal bass in a non-blitz situation in the IBSP area around 5:15am on clam. Unfortunatley it was the old first cast curse and not another striped one after that. Did see fish breaking about 200 yds out. Great to finally get my feet in the sand. Gonna test the knee with some plugging and walking next week. peace NOBODY here has a pass to blow out someone else's candle in order to make theirs shine brighter. T Raw
Great afternoon in MoCo. Tons of bunker and big fish on them. It was a sight to see. 52.8 lbs. Weighed in at the Bait Shop in Bradley Beach. It was a boat fish. Enjoy your weekend fellas. If you ride like lighting, you'll crash like thunder.
Flounderhooked21
Insane fishing in MoCo today with pricise10. I caught a 25lb bass in one spot, moved to another spot, and caught a 28lb bass there with pencil poppers. It felt really good feeling the rod bend today. I am very happy. Oneofour
Great day for me as well. Went to moco after the gym with my girlfriend (who thought there were no fish in the sea!) Hooked up on a bass, handed her the rod, and helped her reel in a 20lber. Im sure if you were there you saw it because she wasnt quiet about it I would post the awesome picture a fellow angler took but I dont wanna spot burn due to certain grains of sand and compounds of H2O in the shot. Have a good weekend everyone! Quote:Originally Posted by Eric_Sfirst hit turned out to be a 13lb bass on a big plug. Very happy to see stripes again so I humped it then sent it on its way. johnnycakes
Fished SFZ between 3pm-1am.Two sea robins and a stargazer. All the action was on grass shrimp. Not a banner day but it was nice to bend the rod a little. No fist fights or any other atrocities to report. plays well with others
Mr. Bigdeal
Big fish out there...............big fish. Some of the boat guys lost fish cause the tackle couldn't handle them..........True. Hoping they move a little north soon......RB. "Law enforcement’ is not something sovereign citizens seize from police officers. It is a societal function that citizens delegate to civil police. In so doing, we do not abdicate our own sovereignty, nor our duties as citizens. Ultimate responsibility is still ours. When those we hire as our “Protectors” are either unwilling or unable to perform that function at the critical moment, there is no law, nor standard, that says we cannot perform it for ourselves"........ chongislove
I hate to be that guy who posts the pictures of minature bass in the reports thread but... I GOT MY FIRST EVER FISH ON PLUGS TODAY!!!!!!!! and then i got my second! and imdannoir lost his potential first (as usual) I will never forget catching my first plug bass ever. I was half heartedly working a pencil popper back to the jetty, watching the boat traffic and birds. I heard it first. It was like someone threw a big rock in the water. And then my rod went down and I went buck wild. dan scrambled down to land it. Shortly after he had a keeper sized fish attack a big white danny real close to the jetty. But it came off. I switched over to a bunker colored swimmer and first cast I got another. Best. Day. Ever. First ever plug bass Second ever plug bass wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gigabass and b'nuggets, its how we do.
