Used to fish carp on the Delaware at the boat ramp on Park Street in Bordentown. Big fish... Big fight. There was an old timer (back in the 70's he was old) who fished his own home made stink bait. If he was fishing with hat stuff you didn't stand a chance! Good thing that he knew how to share.



This old timer was a legend on Island Beach State Park... I wish I could recall his name!

Went beaverin last night with Vedder, and he found em.
They seem a little cranky since the floods wiped out their dens, I couldn't get a good pic, but the pooch had fun.
The beavers were big and tailfloppin.
It was muddy.
Damn muddy.

still early up here so we are spring skiing in the White moutains

probably right into the 2nd week of April @ Wildcat

It's like the dawning of a new day.

My earliest schoolie was second week of April, so hoping it warms up a little and I can hit my early spot with my little guy. Will gladly post results here, good or bad.

Great picture. I doubt I get out till mid April due to the Ice. Then baseball/softball season is really going to cramp down to a few hours on Sunday...

This is a good springtime spot here in Ct. when the herring show it's game on.

Lotta sharpies though, you gotta know yourshit just to get in the rotation.

showed up at the river sat morning 28*f...yup F!! guides were freezing while throwing spinnerbaits for pike. guy walks up to me and says " my buddy is catching 10lb walleyes downriver" through his two teefs. i reply " awesome, why dont you go meet up with him right now" as i walk away.
he follows, and i walk faster. after 50yards i think he got the hint
got my first smb of the season @18" on a curlytail, couple hours later near a different spillway i hooked a fish on a jig. fighting nicely cross current. i have visions or mogombo wallter. get it near shore, 8lb carp snagged in the dorsal.
