Vince -- Kidding aside, there is a specific PlastiDip thinner. I spent $8 or so for a big bottle/can that will last a lifetime (and apparently end a few lifetimes). I think I got it on Ebay. By the way, in response to an earlier post of yours, I sent you a Word doc with info on a fly you were trying to tie. Did you get it? It was about three weeks ago.

Yes, the manufacturer sells one, Jonny got it right. I like Flexament thinner personally as I found it worked better.

Yes, the manufacturer sells it but, I believe it is toluene, or acetone.

Being the typical men that we are we do not like directions let alone reading them. Look on the back of the can and it will tell you. The thinner they sell works great as others have said. I normally dump some thinner of choice in the top of the can and shake. The first few batches that you out in you bottle still has to be thinned.

Jonny I got your reply and tying in progress. Buzzi: I had to use my magnifying light & hand held mag. glass to read the fine print on the can. The price label pulled some of the words off (bad stock clerk bad-bad).

Before and after Toulene
