Translating "PE" lines into lb/kg test

What's the ratio? And what PE rating would translate into the typical 50 lb braid I like on general purpose spinning and conventional reels for surf use?

basically just add 10 to PE and thats the equivaklent braid breakings trength.
say you have PE4, make the 4 into 40 and then add 10, so that equates to 50# braid.

again, when it says PE1, make 1 into 10 then add 10, so PE1 is 20# braid.
