Sure hope someone comes along and builds these boats the way they should be. I've seen too many good designs develop bad reputations because the boats didn't get built the way they should be. Really a shame. I almost bought a Twin Vee, but backed out when I first heard about the water infiltration problem. It was a good decision.

My experience with this problem finds that the water is coming in through the cable tunnels. I found this out when I removed part of the decking on both pontoons to install below deck fuel tanks. The pvc tubing was not glued and allowed water to seep into the hull. Since I did not remove the entire floor to correct this problem, I made sure that the open ends of the tubes would not allow for water entry. I also installed brass drain plugs just in case. As a side note, the new fuel tanks are aluminum, sealed with truck bed liner and now give me a total of 70 gallons on board. Jim
